The Alabama Neurological Institute is a specialized healthcare unit, dedicated to the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with neurologic diseases. We fulfill our mission by providing professional outpatient and inpatient services in the form of consultation and direct care. In addition to our clinical skills and knowledge, we offer expertise in procedural areas that include neurocritical care, endovascular therapy and clinical electrophysiology. Our activities overlap with those of other specialists, with whom we collaborate in order to assure the comprehensive approach to disease management. Our priority is service, as we place paramount importance on the satisfaction of the patients we serve, and the referring physicians whom we support. We further enhance our impact upon neurologic diseases by providing a venue for education of health professionals and the public, as well as by our direct involvement in the research of new diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
