The Phoenix is the legendary bird who would die in flame only to be reborn from its own ashes. This process describes the faculty of the ANI, who left the comfort of the university setting in search of a better way to fulfill their academic mission in the private sector. This process was invigorating and rejuvenating, and brought new life to the stagnant aspect of the traditional academic environment. Interestingly, it is believed that the tears of the Phoenix have healing powers, a quite appropriate reference to the personal struggles that underscore our journey.
